Funnel Analytics Privacy Policy

Funnel Analytics is an on-device analytics app for App Store developers. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is processed and which external services may receive network requests.

The provider responsible for Funnel Analytics is the developer identified on the app's App Store product page ("we", "us"). Privacy questions may be sent to funnel-analytics@tony.expert.

Apple connection and local processing

To connect to App Store Connect, you provide an API key, Key ID, Issuer ID and, where required, a Vendor Number. Credentials are stored in device-only Keychain items and are used locally to create short-lived tokens for requests sent directly to Apple. We do not operate a server that receives your Apple API key, downloaded reports or portfolio data.

The app downloads account-authorized information from Apple, including app, sales, analytics, financial, pricing and review data. Reports, calculated metrics, settings, experiments, local diagnostics and widget summaries are stored on your device. The app and widget may share a local summary through an Apple App Group. Funnel Analytics does not include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs.

Apple controls its APIs, reports, permissions, privacy thresholds, corrections and availability. Apple's own processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Currency estimates and external services

Funnel Analytics may contact public exchange-rate providers to display approximate values in a selected currency. Frankfurter is the primary provider. Depending on currency, date and availability, the app may use European Commission InforEuro, HM Revenue & Customs, U.S. Treasury Fiscal Data, Sveriges Riksbank or Rates By Exchange Rate API.

These requests contain only the currency codes and dates needed to obtain a rate. We do not send Apple credentials, app names, financial reports or monetary amounts to exchange-rate providers. Providers may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and request metadata under their own privacy policies.

The app stores the last valid quote, provider, actual rate date and retrieval time locally. A cached quote may be older than the requested reporting period. If no permitted source or usable cache covers a currency or date, the converted amount is shown as unavailable rather than zero.

Converted amounts are display estimates only. Third-party exchange rates, FX cache data and currency conversions calculated by Funnel Analytics are excluded from user exports. Exports retain Apple-provided monetary values in their original currencies and stored precision.

The app may also request public country and purchasing-power data from the World Bank. These requests do not include your Apple credentials or private portfolio reports. Funnel Analytics does not control the availability, accuracy, retention practices or privacy policies of Apple or external data providers.

Notifications, exports and support

If you enable notifications, the app may perform an opportunistic background refresh and create a local summary notification. iOS may delay, group or omit it. We do not operate a remote-notification server that receives your report contents.

Exports are generated locally. You decide whether to share them and which app, person or service receives them. Exports may contain commercially sensitive information even though credentials, tokens and third-party FX data are excluded. Review the content and destination before sharing it.

Contacting support opens your email app. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. If you contact us, we and our email provider receive the address, message and attachments you provide. Do not send API keys, tokens or unredacted private reports.

Retention and your controls

Local reports and analysis remain on your device until refreshed, cleared, evicted by the operating system or removed through device storage management. You can clear local data and disconnect Apple credentials in the app. Disconnecting or uninstalling Funnel Analytics does not revoke an Apple API key, delete data held by Apple or cancel a price schedule already accepted by Apple.

Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve issues, maintain security records or comply with legal obligations. Copies that you export are controlled by their recipients and storage services.

Your rights and contact

Where applicable law provides these rights, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold, or object to its processing. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. We cannot remotely access or delete reports stored only on your device.

Funnel Analytics is intended for App Store developers and account operators and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when the app, providers or legal requirements change.
